Judge/Executive David Fields installed Deputy Jesse Reinhart Thursday, August 31, as the newest member of the county sheriff's department. Reinhart is the brother of Deputy Nathan Reinhart and Sheriff's Office Manager Myrna Turner.
Sheriff Jared Brewer says Reinhart will be the fifth road deputy he has once he graduates the academy. He will begin his work there in October. In the meantime, he will ride along with the deputies and will be in the office "for the brunt of the tax season."
The sheriff is grateful to now have five road officers and four school resource officers, the SROs being provided for by the PC School Board and the PC Fiscal Court by funding one per school.
