BUTLER — University of Louisville grad Christian Zint said, “It was a God thing meeting Dr. Monte McElfresh,” following dental school.
Zint was in the process looking for a job and moving back to southern Campbell County, where he grew up, when a relative gave him a tidbit of news:
“‘Hey, my pastor (Butler dentist Monte McElfresh) is retiring.’
“She Facebook messaged me. I met Dr. McElfresh, and two days later, I was working there (at the Butler practice).”
Dr. Zint’s practice, Riverside Dental, 8636 U.S. Highway 27, held a grand opening Dec. 2.
They office continues to have the same staff, adding Zint’s wife, Maggie, to the team.
Zint said his goals align with the way McElfresh conducted practice.
Zint said he is working on establishing positive relationships with his patients and believes that opening the practice “could not have gone better.”
He said he has enjoyed helping the people he has encountered. “It has been really good, especially with the staff that stayed on.”
Office hours at Riverside Dental are 8 a.m. too 5 p.m. Monday to Friday. Call 859-472-3395 for an appointment or to welcome the Zints.
