The family of Danny Edington is still seeking answers nearly seven years to the day he came up missing, and Angela Lonaker, his niece, is asking for the help of anyone who may have information. Her goal is closure.
Her Facebook post relates the same message she gave the outlook. “We are still hurting and want closure to whatever happened.” While they suspect foul play, they have no real idea what happened.
The police report states that Edgington was reported missing on March 7, 2016 by his sister Roxanne Edgington, and he was last seen in the area of Well’’s Market some time early that morning. Water rescue and other authorities conducted a thorough search near the river banks, the report states. Other than his hat, keys, and a few other belongings found on the bank, no sign of him was found, the Falmouth Outlook reported March 15.
Alerts were also shared on Facebook and via 911, and the article says PC Search and Rescue made several attempts to locate Edgington throughout the week. He was described as a 6 foot tall white male, 130 pounds with blue/gray eyes. His hair was longer at that time, and his beard had a reddish tint.
Now that Edgington has been missing for seven years, the family is now having him declared dead; however, that does not mean they have given up hope. They hope he is with someone, unaware of who he is.
