Blanket Creek
Continuing the messages of “Miracles”scripture came from Luke 1:26-38. The birth of Jesus is the greatest miracle ever. But how do you think Mary felt at a guesstimate age of 13 to be told by the Angel Gabriel she would become pregnant with God’s son before she and Joseph were married. In those days the law would have her stoned to death. Thankfully Joseph also had a dream it was happening. He loved her so much that he married her so she would not die in that manner. What does this mean to us? Hope and forgiveness are possible. And because of this miracle we are given an opportunity for eternal life.

'Tis the season -- everyone hopefully is in the mood for a special Christmas time. Please remember to keep Christ in the center of all you plan.
Our message reminded us that good news always brings a special joy. Examples of joy in the Bible were the parables of the lost sheep, the lost coin, and the Prodigal Son. There's always joy when the "lost" is found.
Our December 24 Christmas worship times are the same: Sunday School at 9:30 a.m. and morning worship at 10:35 a.m.

Bro. Mark’s message was from Luke 1:5-25.
Zacharias and Elizabeth where up in age. Elizabeth was barren, they had no children. I’m sure they prayed many years to have a child. Zacharias was going about his work in the Temple. The honor fell on him to burn incense before the Lord. Zacharias was startled when an angel appeared. For I have come to tell you that God heard your prayer and your wife will bear a son. And you are to name him John. He will be one of the Lords great men. He will persuade many a Jew to turn to the Lord. He will precede the coming of the Messiah, preparing the people for his arrival.
What God performed in Zacharias and Elizabeth’s life was in Gods time. He deals with us individually in his own perfect time.
Turner Ridge
This week the Ernst family lit the Peace Advent candle followed by Bow at the Manger, a time of placing your Lottie Moon Christmas offering in the manger. After Bro. Dale prayed over the offering that was given, that it would help missionaries to spread God’s word, he led the children’s message. "Are You Ready For Christmas," from Luke 3:1-6.
We were blessed during our worship service to have retired missionaries Gary and Sis Tufts with us to speak. They have served in the mission field for over 38 years, sharing the gospel with both hearing and deaf individuals that may not of otherwise heard the word of God. This is why we give, to have a small part not only thru prayer but in monetary support of the missionaries work.
