After a beautiful piano special by Ms. Ramona Colvin the message was from Acts 26:24-30. “Almost Is Not Enough.” It’s like the phrase “sitting on the fence.” You are either hot or cold, no in between. You believe in God or you don’t. The only hope we have in this life is Jesus Christ. Let’s share that with others who may be sitting on the fence.
Please pray for the families of Gerald Barlow and Amanda Campbell.
We’d love to have your children come join us for VBS. The theme is “The Great Jungle Journey,” and will be held on June 24-28. If you need a ride please call the church at 859-654-5080 and leave a message and someone will get back to you.
Butler Christ Community
Greetings friends, If you were at services on Sunday the 19th you probably were seeing red. Many in the congregation were wearing red and even Pastor Ron had on a red tie! Why you wonder? It was in observance of Pentecost Sunday. Pastor Ron spoke about Pentecost in his message.
I want to clear up about the location of our upcoming VBS. It will be held at Butler Christian Church on June 10-13, not at Butler Christ It will be held each evening 6-8:30. Sorry for any confusion!
The Mountain Mission truck will be here May 28.
The funeral service for Dorothy Taylor, our oldest member, was held last Tuesday; our sincere sympathy to her family.
Please pray for all of our sick, lonely, brokenhearted, lost, and those who are in the hospital. Thank you for praying with us.
Have a blessed week. May God be with you!

The message of the hour reminded us that we should only judge using spiritual discernment: look inward, check your intentions - use spiritual discernment to call out good or evil.
Today we honored our graduate Chase Steimer. We pray for God's guidance upon his life as he will be entering the Marines soon.
June 9 will be our Baby Dedication Sunday. Also, we will be having a spaghetti dinner that day.

Bro. Mark’s message was from Revelation 21.
I saw a new heaven and new earth with no oceans. And, I, John saw the Holy City, a new Jerusalem coming down from God out of heaven. An amazing sight to see. It glowed like a precious gem, crystal clear. No temple could be seen in the city, for God and the Lamb shall be worshiped in it everywhere.
God will wipe away all tears from our eyes and there shall be no more death, sorrow, crying or pain. All of that has gone forever. The one upon the throne said, I am making all things new. Write this down for what I tell you is trust worthy and true. Only those whose names are written in the Lamb's Book of Life will be there.

“I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” Philippians 4:13, this was in the message presented to the graduates Sunday morning. We celebrated all those graduating – Kindergarten, 5th grade, 8th grade, Seniors and College. It is a new beginning in a new phase of life for each of them and the message, God’s Gift To Be Used from II Timothy 1:3-7, holds the power for each of them to move forward fearless! “For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.” II Timothy 1:7.
The children’s message The Day of Pentecost from Acts 2:1-21, this past Sunday was the day of Pentecost, and the purpose is to remind every Christian that even though Christ died for our sins, and we can be forgiven of sin, we need to receive the Holy Spirit so we can disciple others.
Kadence Auer read Philippians 3:13-14 and the Praise team special was No Longer Slaves. We had a great service and wonderful time of fellowship at the lunch after the service honoring the High School Seniors.
