We were reminded this day that God is in the business of finding the lost.  Think of the parable of the lost coin:  the woman represents God and the lost coin represents you.  God rejoiced over finding the one soul that was lost..

Bro. Mark’s message was from John 6.

Jesus is physical food.  Jesus crossed over the Sea of Galilee where a huge crowd was on their way to Jerusalem for the annual Passover celebration.  They were following Jesus to watch him heal the sick.  He saw a great multitude of people climbing the hill looking for him.  Jesus turned to Phillip, where can we buy bread to feed all these people?  There is a youngster with five barley loaves and two fish.  But what good is that to this mob!  Jesus took the loaves and fish, gave thanks to God, and fed all who were there.  They ate until full.  The scraps where gathered and filled 12 baskets.  Jesus is the Bread of Life!

Many churches celebrated Sanctity of Life Sunday this past week. We should always celebrate the sanctity of life because it is written in God’s Word “For it was you who created my inward parts; you knit me together in my mother’s womb. I will praise you because I have been remarkably and wondrously made. Your works are wondrous, and I know this very well. Psalm 139:13-14.

We celebrated the baptism of Weslynn Pitmann; pray for Weslynn and his walk with the Lord.

The children’s message, A Baby By The River from Exodus 2:3 told of the lengths went to save the life of Moses. Kip Gregg read the scripture of Psalm 139:15-16, followed by the Praise Team special, Holy Forever.

Bro. Dale’s message, Wonderfully Made, held scripture from Psalm, Isaiah, Ecclesiastes, Jeremiah, and Ephesians; all that speak of how the Lord formed us, knew us, and had a place and purpose for us in the world.
