FALMOUTH — Trinity Southern Baptist Church, 302 Broad St., plans to celebrate its annual Thanksgiving dinner again this year.
“This mission project is one of service to our community workers that have to work on Thanksgiving Day and for those who are shut-in, alone or have a need,” according to the church.
A delivery option is available for shut-ins/community workers within a five-mile radius of Falmouth and Butler.
Dine-in and pick-up service is available for those who need a meal.
All meals must be reserved ahead of time.
To do so, call 859-654-2681 or go online at TsbcFalmouth.com/Thanksgiving.
Those calling the church and leave a message are asked to speak clearly, leaving details of your name, phone number, address and the number of meals needed.
The maximum number of meals is eight.
Orders will be taken up until 9 a.m. Thanksgiving Day.
“Please note the importance that if you are receiving a carryout meal or meal that is delivered that we are unable to fulfill special requests,” the church stated in its announcement.
“If picking up a meal, please tell the greeter upon arrival and kindly wait till your order is complete.”
According to a spokesman, the reason Trinity does this is because, “God truly blesses this event each year and we are thankful for all of those who give of themselves to serve.
“So many put their individual family plans on hold so that they may come and help. We appreciate each and everyone who gives of their time, their donations, etc.
“Without faithful and loving workers this event would not be possible.”
