Ernst does not think a miracle is needed, just shift in priorities

Dear Editor

My name is Sebastian James Ernst. I’m a life-long resident of Pendleton County. I currently live at 408 Main st. with my amazing wife and two daughters. My family runs The Smoking Pig restaurants here in Pendleton County. Before moving to Falmouth I served 5 years in the United States Marine Corps as an Avionics Electronics Technician. I currently own and operate All-American Restoration, a small remodeling company located right here in Falmouth. I hold a Bachelors degree in Business Administration and Accounting from the Forbes School of Business.
I humbly ask for your vote for City Council because I believe we as a community are capable of so much more than what we are witnessing here in town. It isn’t going to take a miracle to see this city brought back to life. It will take proper budgeting and a major shift in our priorities. We can start to rebuild our town in a matter of months if we are willing to make a change and pass a budget that focuses on improving our community. I’ve spent years reviewing our yearly audits. Many citizens aren’t aware of the poor financial situation the city is in. I seek to remedy these issues through proper budgeting and common sense governing. We know what the old ways get us, now is the time to try something new.
