Cheercats begin season with championship wins at NKCCA at Boone County

The Pendleton County Cheercats began their 2023-24 season with a great start as they took home first place in Gameday Co-ed division, beating out 14 other schools. They also were awarded Overall Gameday Grand Champions on October 21st at the NKCCA event held at Boone County High School.

PC Runners Advance to State at the KHSAA Region 4 Class A Meet

By Jennifer Redden The PCHS Cross Country team competed at the KHSAA Region 4 Class 2A meet on Saturday, October 21st in Bourbon County.  The Wildcat team placed fifth overall. The top four teams advance to the state finals.

Ladycats volleyball finish runner up at Districts, seek first regional win

By Samantha Verst The Pendleton County Ladycats live to see another week with their defeat over Robertson County in the first round of the district tournament. Unfortunately, the team fell short to Harrison County in the championship game.

By: Sam McClanahan      Pendleton County Wildcats head football coach Kyle Pettit resigned on October 9. He was hired during the summer of 2022 after serving as an assistant on the staff for several years.

Ladycats honor seniors, notch three more victories

By Samantha Verst  The Ladycats regular season will close out this week, as they play their last few games before the district tournament begins. This past week, the team went 3-1 with wins over Gallatin County, Augusta, and Nicholas County.

PCHS joins nationwide See You at the Pole

Cross Country competes in Bluegrass Invitational 

By: Jennifer Redden  On September 23, the Pendleton County cross country team competed at the Bluegrass Invitational at Masterson Station in Lexington. It was a very large meet with 20 teams entered.   The Wildcat varsity boys placed 17th.
