By: Stacey Myers On March 20, the Pendleton County tennis team traveled to Paris to take on the Colonels of Bourbon County. On the girl’s side of things, the Ladycats emerged victorious, defeating the Lady Colonels four matches to one.

Superb Pitching Guides Ladycats To Two Wins

By: Sam McClanahan The Pendleton County Ladycats received three outstanding pitching outings from the duo of Kayley Bruener and Hannah Spaulding that saw the team collect a pair of home victories. The team began their week with a March 20 road matchup at Cooper and fell 8-7.

By Hannah Thomas Pendleton County High School’s Academic Team came out on top as Regional Champions for the second year in a row. Their quick recall team came in first place led by Emma Gillespie as captain with members Elissa Blackaby, Micheal Lambert, Jacob Sanning, and Gavin Webster.

Wildcats Honor Seniors, Prepare For Districts

By: Sam McClanahan The Pendleton County Wildcats concluded their regular season and held their annual "Senior Night" ceremony to honor the contributions of Ethan Verst, Connor Neltner, and team manager Rylee Spence.
The eighth grade Sharp Wildcats won the NKMSAA Championship on February 18 at Campbell County Middle School. The boys defeated Newport to conclude their season with a 25-3 record. Congratulations Wildcats! Archery Team Places Runner-Up at Robertson

By Annie Redden The Pendleton County Archery returned to action in the Robertson County State warmup on February 10 and 11. They shot a total score of 3298 points, placing them second out of the three teams competing.
